Or some shirtless wonder raving about HIIT and how it will have you burning calories for hours after your workout. 

So, what’s the best? Here’s the twist: both lower intensity and HIIT can help you lose fat, but if you’re not in a calorie deficit, it’s like trying to fill a bucket with a hole in it. You can work out all you want, but if those calories are sneaking back in, fat loss will be as elusive as that last cheerio at a 3rd birthday party.
